Forums - Gaming - Lol WiiU, Razors Edge coming to PS360

Nintendo is funding that so I doubt Sega would be able to pull any strings really.  I would think Nintendo would have those avenues sewn up, so I don't think Bayonetta 2 is going anywhere else.

I think it can go on other systems provided someone else is willing to publish it. But the game hasn't sold so I don't think anybody would see benefit in it. They turned to nintendo when they offered and nobody else did. It already complicates matters since the wii u controller can only be closely replicated with vita.

One more thing to complete my year = senran kagura localization =D

I already told you guys in another thread that Team Ninja was already on it. No way Tecmo could leave the majority of the fans behind. WiiU is not even out everywhere yet and it's already losing exclusives lol.

The game was already released on PS360, so how could it be an exclusive?  Or are you confusing Ninja Gaiden for Bayonetta?

Razor's Edge is exclusive. Published and pushed by Nintendo as such btw.

I think its funny that some people seem sour on this, why is this a surprise, they've released NG games multiple times, hell the first one was released like four different times and the sequel is getting another release on Vita

But it's the same game, is my point. Yeah, there's an extra character and dismemberment - but it's the SAME game with just DLC-esque editions.

I highly doubt this.  I don't think Nintendo would be so dense to allow that to happen.  Especially after seeing how the internet reacted to the news during those humorous meltdowns.

People said the same thing about Mass Effect 1...

"LOL" indeed.. who will buy this from the PS360 crowd?.. those who already bought it are being asked to pay again.. yes it is LOL.

Ayane fans, Momiji fans, and people who didn't buy it because Ayane and Momiji weren't in it (like me ^_^). There might be some big DLC for the others.

Having a blast playing the Wii U version, but I'm afraid that it most probably didn't sell to well.....probably because there is such a glut of launch titles for the Wii U. The Miiverse is somewhat active for it, but the online vs. has been close to dead the two times I attempted to use it (it was obscenely late at night though.)

In any case, it is indeed a worthy Ninja Gaiden game, and I hope PS3/Xbox 360 owners that do not have a Wii U and were burned by the vanilla version enjoy it if it is infact coming out for those systems.

lol I was talking to my Nintendo rep about this earlier last week to about how Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge was published by Nintendo in the US... but how that means nothing. Or at least we assumed it was because he was able to track inventory on his end when they can't for third party games normally.

Bad for those that bought NG3, good for me since I held off on NG3. I've been burned like this before tho. See Blaz Blue or Marvel vs Capcom 3 or Street Fighter 4, I've had to buy multiple versions of those games before.

lol you and me both man. As soon as I saw razors edge as a subtitle I knew what was coming. They are just milking this franchise.

@ Heavenly King Sega don't own the rights to bayonetta 2. Platinum do. That is why they look for the publisher. When sega cancelled it they gave up all their privellages. The only one willing to publish bayonetta 2 was nintendo so it has become wii u exclusive. Of course that is at this moment. Anything is possible but don't forget nintendo seem to be publishing multiple platinum games so they might still be in contract with nintendo for other games yet. In which case the contract will continue, see rare, gears of war, insomniac and sk.

In theory it can go multiplat if someone else is willing to publish it but if they are in contract with nintendo to publish a number of games yet it won't be happening anytime soon.

Sega owns the Bayonetta IP, so they own ALL the Bayonetta rights, including Bayo1/2/3/4/5/6/etc.
