I tell you - I sounds like the original Fable ending. You can't do anymore missions and the like because the castle is decimated.

I watched that Sci vs. Fi show off Live ... and listening to them, they said you could bring saves from the first and second games. Wow ... just imagine you are playing ME3 and you get a corrupt save, which wipes out all of your progress since the first game.

I wish I had a lot more time to devote to ME. I found a few other side quest - the one where you speak to your mom - and the other one when you are tracking a signal that's funneling credits. This game never ceases to amaze me.

Mass Effect, FTW!

This message has popped up since the game launched. I guess as someone mentioned it relates to any downloadable content available.

Hay, El Nino ... it's just the new video. I was sooo hyped it was a few more missions ... I can't wait.

MADSKILLS!!!! How do you do the mother mission?

I know Bio Ware intends to allow us to use our game saves in future Mass Effect sequels, but suppose I play through the game multiple times. Which ending am I going to carry over? I think there's just going to be one "cover all bases" starting point, and that we will decide "our Shepard's" history much like the first ME. I think stats and ability will carry over, though.

I'm expecting Oblivion like expansions for Mass Effect.

First off, I want Horse mounts when travelling on planets and some fancy armor for the horses.

Secondly, One new character would knock my socks off.. not sure how they would implement it, but its been mention on these forums that Mass Effect was built with DLC in mind, so maybe its possible.

Thirdly, More Nudity!!! Come on, everyone wants to see what Tali looks like... hell, she can still keep the bag on her head if she wants too

Fourthly, a fix for inventory... I don't care what they do as long as its improved

I wanna hit Ash more than just that one time ... you know, like in Fable. And I don't wanna have a mission like Virmire, where you are going to lose one teammate, no matter what. That sucks... 

When you create your character you have to pick the Spacer background. Each background has a unique mission. With the Spacer background the unique mission require you to call your mom's ship.

Edit: Yeah the Virmire mission is bastard. I mean I know why they did it that way and they were setting up for it through out the whole game. I mean on my first play through, I was male Shepard so the choice fairly easy. I mean the principle of it all annoyed me but you don't really get to know the character as well.

On my second playthrough I was a female Shepard, this made that choice much more difficult. The character you don't get to know that well as a guy, opens up to you as a female Shepard. Not only that, I had grown attached to the other character as a male Shepard. So on my second playthrough it was sorta of like picking which of you friends has to die. It sucked.

Sorry for being so vague but I just don't want to spoil the game for those that haven't beaten it yet. 

I chose the spacer background and while you're walking through the Wards at the Citadel, you run into a guy who knows your mom. If you check your journal, you can call her from the room where everyone debriefs after missions.

This game branches out in some many ways it's not funny. As a result of my background, I actually got a couple new messions.
