I will kill this puppy if you don't buy a Vita

Well that has been the best argument I've seen yet lol

Shame on those other people for listing good games that you might enjoy!

I know just horrible people! :p lol

Seriously though I was hoping people knew some games that were coming out for it or something that I was unaware of.  I'll just wait for a price drop for now.  I might pick up the PS2 Persona 4 or something in the meantime.  I just hate doing that because I know there is a better version out there lol

300$? lol, I guess you didn't hear about them black Friday deals.

I didn't care about Persona 4 Golden up until about 2 hours ago lol

As far as everybody goes, it is really useless telling me about the Black Friday deals that no longer exist.

Wait for Christmas sales. I'm sure there will at least be a $199 deal somewhere.

Really suggest against doing that. I stopped my playthrough of Persona 4 once Golden was announced. There's more than enough new content for that to be considered.

What is the big differences between the two?

Spoiler'd.

-Two new Social Links. Both Social Links can unlock new contents on story, such as new dungeon and additional scenes for all ending types (Bad/Good/True)
-New Difficulty levels, similar to Persona 3 Portable. On New Game+, player can change and even customize the difficulty levels on config menu.
-Additional voice over dialog.
-Chie and Teddie have new voices in the English versions .
-New animated cutscenes.
-More Personas, including new Ultimate Personas for the Investigation Team.
-New areas, such as a beach and a ski resort. Okina City, which was only seen during certain Social Link scenes, is now accessible.
-New events, such as a Halloween event and a skiing trip.
-Player can explore Inaba on evening time, with few limitation places (similar to Persona 3)
-Yu and his friends now have motorbikes to get around various areas.
-Tag team attacks.
-A quiz show mini-game.
-Certain equipment and accessories changes your party member's appearance, much like in Persona 3 FES and Persona 3 Portable. This equipment goes in a different slot and does not affect the party's stats.
-New Garden and Bug Catching features.
-Trophy/achievements
-The ability to choose which skills can be inherited by the persona you are fusing.
-The ability to call for help via Wi-Fi when your party reaches critical status.
-Clips from the Persona Music Live of 2008 and 2009 can be watched.
-An option to replay animated cutscenes.
-The addition of an in-game music player.
-New scene skipping function for those who played the PS2 version that just want to explore new features.
-If player fulfills criteria for at least good ending, daily activities are expanded, giving more time for events and social links.
-New epilogue for the True Ending.
-Some minor gameplay changes
-Some shadows/enemies have changed their attribute (weakness/strength/null) or area spawn
-New types of Shuffle Time!
-Changes for NPC's or Fox's requests, etc.
-Rebalanced characters

Btw literally just got my white vita today and it's lovely, for what it's worth. Shoulda grabbed one on black friday.

If you don't buy a PSV this year, then you aren't an unbiased gamer.

Darn lol

Sal did a pretty good job of explaining it all.

Although, there's a bit more to the online interactivity than that. You can see what other people did with their time at the same point in the game and while in the dungeon, you can call for aid (slight hp/sp boost at the start of battle).

Convince you to buy a Vita?
No.

I think we have pretty similar tastes, so I'll just post the games that I'm interested in buying.

Persona 4: Golden (humourous and fun JRPG with great reviews)
Uncharted: Golden Abyss (UC on the go)
Jet Set Radio HD
Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale
Final Fantasy X HD (a huge FF on the go)
Little Big Planet Vita (touch screen adds so much over the PS3 version)
Rayman Origins (classic 2D platforming)
Gravity Rush
Assassin's Creed III: Liberation (AC on the go)

You might also be interested in:

MGS HD collection (I already have this on PS3)
Mortal Kombat (not a big fan, but it's highly rated)

Some of these are multiplatform or remasters, but I still think they're worth owning for (possibly) the extra content and the fact that they're on a portable for the very first time.

I don't have an iPhone or a tablet or any of that stuff, so the Vita will be even more useful to me for media playback, web browsing and apps.

Not buying PS+ with it would be a mistake for one, so if you're going to buy it make sure to get plus. I know you've said already that it isn't your thing, BUT almost all the big Vita games are already available on it and Mortal Kombat is coming for it in December too (at least in Europe, not sure how it is in USA).

Mortal Kombat will be a nice addition as I think it has been the best fighting game in years.  But no PS+ isn't my thing so I'd still pass on it, no offense or anything.

Well you clearly do not like good things or care about value for money, so go buy 10 Vitas.

Where did that come from?  Because I don't care for PS+ because I feel like I'm throwing money away for games I do not care about?
