Im currently playing Forza Horizon and I gotta say its my favorite racer this gen.  The game has some serious personality for a racer with an awesome soundtrack and cool overall feel.  That's the biggest thing that sets Horizon apart for me is its character and the way the game j7st overall feels.  Racing is fast and fun and the neon lights and festival vibe the game has are unique. 

Forza 4 is a much more serious racer and is better than Horizon at offering a realistic true to life experience and I would say is the overall better looking game.  I love both but what do the members of vgchartz think, Forza Horizon or Forza 4?

I voted for Forza Horizon because I will start playing it in in the near future (its in my backlog of games). But once I play Forza 4 and if it turns out to be better then Forza 3 I will probably change my mind.

(I've played both very little in my cousin's 360 - He is big racing games fan)

I find Forza 4 more like GT... a realistic racing sim. It is better looking, but I find it plain boring.

Forza Horizon on the other hand is a fun game. It may not be as realistic... but I prefer it that way.

Forza 4 got me back into the racing genre. Horizon is the first open world racing game I've ever liked. As of right now, I can't decide which one I like better. I just got Horizon today, and I've only played it for a few hours, but I'm already starting to feel like it might be the better game. I seem to love free roaming just as much as I love racing.

Sadly, this franchise will never get the attention it deserves.

I enjoy realism over arcady type racing games, so if I HAD to pick it would be Forza 4. Horizon sort of reminds me of Need for Speed, and while they are fun to play, they get very boring and dull once you're finished unlocking everything.

Forza 4, especially if you haven't played Forza 3. Its just a solid package.

I would say Forza 4, I've only played the Horizon demo, but I didn't feel it was anywhere near as good.
