If not movies this would be great for short films, it would put Youtube out of business.

A few things would happen. Many more people would take up an interest in lucid dreams. The film industry would not go out of business because the vast majority of people can't dream up stories as interesting as the few paid to do it very well -- but comedies might take a hit. Youtube would become even bigger. The porn industry as we know it would be ruined -- rather than creating new porn videos, companies would probably begin to focus on buying people's dreams and distributing them to others who would be interested. A youtube-like website would probably spring up where people could upload their explicit dreams to be sponsored by trojan or something, and others could watch them for free.

Although there would be all kinds of horrendous legal implications for this scenario.
