It's the apocalypse!  My family and I were playing Nintendoland when the Wii U froze.  Then, it happened again and again.  I played some Call of Duty and all was well with the hardware.  Then, we went back to Nintendoland and it crashed again.  One quick look at the Miivese and I found out that it was happening to everybody.  Now, what do we do!?

At least it's just the game and not the console. I don't know how I would react if the Wii U was broken. I'd probably cry.

I seem to remember that Wii Sports had minor stability issues (only first party game to crash on me, except for the two times the Wii broke down). Odd.

I googled it. Seems like this was a big issue on November 19th as well but they patched it. I didn't actually play my Wii U until the 20th so I was spared that heart attack. Could the problem be too much awesomeness in one place? We were having the time of our lives playing Mario Chase and Luigi's Ghost Thingy. Guess I'll either go back to playing Hitman Absolution or we'll play some Call of Duty Black Ops 2.

How sad is that? I'd rather be playing a party game than the biggest FPS of the year. :(

system locks and games freezing doesn't seem to be anything rare. there's a pretty big thread on gaf just for that. But yea as mentioned above a patch is coming so hopefully that will be the end of it

I have to admit, Nintendo Land is pretty awesome for the family.

Happened to me today I was like heck is wrong with my wiiu till I played mario and zombie u and it was fine. Glad to hear its just the game.

Nintendoland has been noted to have freezing issues.

It froze on me once out of 4 hours so far. I've been playing the pikmin game with my daughters. They love it.
