I recently bought a second 3DS and im looking for a fun local co-op game to play with my wife. I think I heard one of the Dragon Quests for the DS was a quality co-op game but not sure which one. I'd appreciate any suggestions thanks!!

yeh i was thinking that. but to play co-op on NSMB2 you need 2 carts (no download play). Is it worth buying 2 copies of the game to play it?

yeh seems like 3DS doesn't really have any killer co-op games yet apart from NSMB2.
did a little looking around and found some nice co-op games for the DS -
Advance wars: Dual Strike
Children of mana
Dragon quest 9
Contra 4

Well, I wouldn't say that it is worth it to buy 2 games just to play coop, but I can say I have had a blast with this game. It really depends on you tough.
