Forums - Sony Discussion - When will the new ps3 controllers w/ vibration be available?

Hopefully the new controllers will fix the controller sync issue for us early adopters with 20/60gig systems...

I haven't had any issues with my 60GB PS3 and syncing the controllers.

OT: I hope they come out soon, because I miss the vibration, shooters just aren't the same without it.

Not everyone does but there is a problem. Mine loses sync for about three-four seconds once every two to three hours.

I'll definitely be buying a new controller when the DualShocks hit.

Or check out my new webcomic: http://selfcentent.com/

I have my DS3 controller, and it is definitely an all around better controller than the Sixaxis. The analogue sticks are better, and the controller never loses sync like the first ones did.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

Conservatives:  Pushing for a small enough government to be a guest in your living room, or even better - your uterus.

I've thought about importing one, but I think I'll wait too.  Something to look forward too after all.

I hope they start including these with the console, especially if it's needed for MGS4.

Currently Playing:  Saints Row 2 | Battlefield 2 | Company of Heroes

Recently Beaten: Gears of War | Super Mario Galaxy | Darwinia | MGS4 | Sam and Max Ep. 4, Portal | Mirror's Edge | Uncharted | Mass Effect

Looking Forward to: Alan Wake | Splinter Cell : Conviction | The Last Guardian | Batman: Arkham Asylum | SMG2 | Mass Effect 2 |

Wouldn't the Wiimote fit better?...

While your holding it in your hand *shifty eyes*

Probably soon though when all there AAA titles come out.

They have tons on Ebay going for $65 or so after shipping.

Why wait, to buy it in North America, when you can buy it from Japan, through eBay? I already bought one, and it's coming soon! Apparently, one source states that the Dual Shock 3's vibration is not as strong as the Dual Shock 2. Other sources say that it's more refined. I'm sure it's just as good as the original. So much for Sony's "rumble was so last gen," and "it wont work with the sixaxis technology."
