Myself and a co-worker are each getting a copy. I'm getting Pearl & he's getting Diamond. I'm 25 and he's 29. I'm sure the people ridiculing anyone for getting a Pokemon game are the same people who ridicule any guy who buys Viva Pinata. They do it because it's the cool thing to do when you're at an age where you want to proove how much of a grownup you are.
Anyway, D/P has already got 5 million under its belt from Japan alone. It'll probably be around 7 million worldwide by the end of May. Madden 07 is just over 5 million across PS2 & 360 worldwide.
To cash in my CC rewards points for $300 in Circuit City gift cards to purchase a 360 or not: That is the question.

this is the problem for madden, only sells good in US like GTA, well GTA have manny support in europe, but in japan GTA and madden sell pooooooorly.

Madden is probably not a fair comparison it being across so many platforms, but if you do combine them and are talking about the US than it will definetly be the best selling game. Though Pokemon is indeed a bigger phenomenon worldwide.
