Perhaps they were enemies in the past, but they seem to help each other this generation.

Also, you could say Microsoft and Nintendo are enemies right now. Microsoft tried to steal Nintendo's casual audience with Kinect. Nintendo stole Microsoft's controller with the Pro Controller. Microsoft stole Nintendo's avatars. Microsoft tried to kill the Wii U's gamepad with Smartglass, etc. They seem like arch enemies to me.

Fixed that for you. Somehow I doubt core Nintendo fans care about that.

They are competitors, but the big picture tells me they each served their own part to gain themselves at Sonys expense.



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

I have confidence that sonys next console won't fail, after all the PS3 managed to sell 70million units after launching at a $599 price point, 1 year later than the competition and lacking good software for the first 1-2 years, so if they can turn the PS3 around they should have no issues with their next console which won't have such a terrible launch.

but they were in a better condition then

now they are having a hard time with Vita
