PS3 and XBOX sales for AC in NA are about the same which is quite impressive..

Shows the series is more popular on PS3 % wise

Besides, the AC sales of both consoles has always been close.


Not in the US. 

And besides, like the other guy said, AC has always been advertised as a PS3 exclusive. And the exclusive content has always been only a few side missions (or something insignificant). But there's suddenly been a huge change. Perhaps 360 owners have grown tired of Assassin's Creed?

Oh yeah, I forgot about that bundle. That would explain it, even though it's not with ever ps3.

Marketing. Most AC3 ads showed a PS3 logo. Sony finally employing MS COD tactics. Oh and a ps3 exclusive bundle. That kinda helped lol



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

It's just the $299 bundle

Plus, it looks like it worked, assassins creed 3 should end up selling the most on ps3 quite easily, microsoft did the same with call of duty.

Good but not outstanding numbers. Neither PSV nor 3DS are able to claim all the sales lost YoY by PSP and DS.
Anyhow, each platform is finally taking off for the Xmas season. Even PSV! Although flying low.
CoD very strong as usual, but considerably weaker than last year, despite not having Skyrim this year to fight for people's wallets in the same week and despite the larger potential user base now. The start of a slow decline for a franchise far too much milked?
Hopefully WiiU will boost total numbers for this Xmas season, that's starting weaker overall than last year.

Decent week for sales given the longevity of the current systems. PS3 holding alright I guess, but there NA numbers are probably low due to the price increase this year.

People are more then likely waiting for the Black Friday sales at this point. Why would anyone pay $269.99 for a PS3 bundle when you can get one for $199.99 the following week.
