Is it possible to play splitscreen (with 2 people) online? My brother and I want to sit in the same room, play on the same system, and play online. Is this possible?

(Also, if possible: do the two players play in a split screen mode or does one have the gamepad screen and the other the TV screen?)

IGN mentioned that it IS possible to do this in their review... but they said it in a really abrupt and confusing way.

Yes. You can both play on the TV or you can play one on TV and one on the pad. The pad was surprisingly awesome.

Should be the same as PS3/360 versions.

Offline Multiplayer - Up to 4-player Splitscreen.
Online Multiplayer - Up to 2-player splitscreen
Zombies - Up to 4-player splitscreen.

I think the second person just needs to press the +(Start) button at the right screen, I'm not sure though. That's just what I remember reading whilst watching some Wii U live stream.

Giant Bomb did a BLOPS2 Stream and they were playing on TV and Gamepad 2 player online, split screen mode is there too if you want it, but prolly not as enjoyable.
