This makes me want to play World of Goo. I hope it's cheaper by the time I get a WiiU.

It's exactly the same game! It will be identical on Linux, OS X too.

A tough decision? What do you have to decide? You said the other day that all indie games are worthless...

Hmm...Well that is strange then since all the other reviews I have seen have given this game a really bad score. Those were for PC. Maybe the gamepad makes the difference? |
I assumed that's just coincidence. Bound to happen sometimes when you have a lot of reviewers only reviewing one platform or another. I haven't read anything from any review that makes me think there's actually a difference between the versions, so I'd assume all those PC reviews apply to the Wii U version as well.

I am sure that this is the appeal of the game... I have (and sometimes still do) spent long stretches of time burning random bits of things at a bonfire / barbeque.
Some men just want to watch the world burn...

I think that's one of the problems with Metacritic. Even when different versions of multi-platform games are identical, they consider reviews from websites like nintendeers.com, playstationeros.es and xboxers.de, altering the mean for each system.

Well this is mostly due to Meta's new policy where every site reviewing a game has to make it obvious what version of the game they played the most and their score will only be counted for that platform unless a second reviewer does a completely independent review of the other platform. I think it's a good policy from the aspect of honest because it stops sites from just labeling their reviews as being for all the platforms when they only ever touched one, but it makes comparisons a bit more confusing, particularly for a title like this which is hugely devisive.
