Well I do not even have one, but these are exciting times! Especially after being on a diet of bread and soup for two years from nintendo.


I pretty much played Minecraft and Pokemon Black for the entire first half of 2011. It was baaaaaaaaad.

hmm the guy mentioned MADDEN 2013 being great.

I had put this of my radar mainly because of the crap EA pulled with Mass Effect 3.

Apart from running on last years engine, which is dissapointing, I may put this back on my radar and see what reviewers think as the trailer looked interesting gameplay wise on the gamepad.

couple of negatives.

- No universal screen resizing. when you first turn the Wii U on everything will be over zoomed and you must re adjust the screen in every app. still have not figured out how to adjust home screen.

- No rewards program for basic users sucks! What if we wanted a white Wii U or couldnt find the deluxe Wii U? I am for down for digital but  not being able to get the same rewards for it as the deluxe users buyers suck. Hopefully they let us buy the service.

- speaking of DLing, we 8GBers are screwed.After the initial update we are left with less than 2GB. We cant DL any games minus Mario and Nintendoland and you cant have both at the same time. Regardless of 8GB or 32 we are most likely going to have to get a external hardrive . Games and Installs take alot of space up.


outside of these 3 complaints I have nothing negative to say about the Wii U. I Love it. The way it cements itself as a all around entertainment system is great. You can use Wii U to do anything. Changing channel sounds really stupid untill you actually do it. Mii verse is awesome, but it might get annoying after awhile. have not seen any childish shit so far from the users

Even destructoid gave it an 8 out of 10 I believe. So it was good! Now just to figure out if they have online for it. I forget.

Sweet. Well I am in AUS, so hopefully I am not limited to playing online (assumgin it has it) against the rest of the world. As playing Against other Aussies would mean very few players lol.

Regarding your last point about the space, it is really cheap to upgrade.  The price you pay for a single game for the Wii U can give you a massive upgrade on space.

That other review bitching about all the cables, it has one extra power cord for the controller and the sensor bar one. Probably takes an extra 1 to 2 minutes to set up from your standard console. 2 extra minutes for 5 to 10 years of enjoyment. I find that complaint idiotic.
