PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale has been out for a week and a half, and we’ve already gotten heaps of constructive feedback from the community regarding everything from game balance to the online experience. With that said, we have our first patch going live early next week. Changes include:

A new item, Medusa’s Gaze, has been added to the game
View Invites has been added to the Party Bar Menu
Voice chat icon added to loading screens
AI logic enhancements
Network performance improvements
Issue where players were stuck with a different character than the one picked has been addressed

Sackboy changes
Level 1 Super - Increase cost from 100 to 150 AP
Level 2 Super - Increase cost from 325 to 400 AP

Jam Session (Neutral Triangle) - Reduced AP generation from 25 down to 10 AP
Cakeinator (Neutral Circle) - Reduced AP generation from 25 down to 20 AP

We want to thank everyone for all the feedback we’ve received since launch. It helps us tremendously in improving the All-Stars experience. We’ll continue to closely monitor the data coming in as players online continue to kick-punch-chop their way through the leaderboards! And we ask that you keep tweeting, posting, and discussing ways that your experience with the game can be improved.

dat sackboy nerf....yay

Wait they're making it HARDER for Sackboy to get a level three. Whenever i've played as him, i couldn't get to level 3 if my life depended on it.

Am i missing a trick here? 

yes! he is one of THE easiest spammable characters in the game..especially in FFA and 2vs2. The strategy most used is that you find a corner...set up an electric trap and stand behind it to spam cake or paint balls. The AP build up is crazy fast. It's hard to reach them also because of the electrip trap and it actually gives a good chunk of AP. 

His lvl 3 is VERY good imho. it gives easy kills + helps you grab more AP in the process. Also as you can see his earlier AP requirements were actually lower than the rest. Most characters (if not all) need 150AP to hit lvl 1

I was certain that 150 was the standard for a lvl 1. That's the case for every character i've ever touched. Perhaps Sackboy was bugged from the beginning. (never used him)

lol well i guess my paper can wait...for w/e reason I thought it's gonna be tonight...I didn't even practice! I was playign the arcade mode and finished the whole thing today 

My first ever platinum! :D btw try and see if PS Gamer is available or Runa or Ikol. They have the game . I see ikol is online too so he might be interested

Oh i agree that his level 3 is brutal. I just can't get enough AP to actually use it. XD

Then again i wasn't using the projectile attacks that much, i was mainly dropping electric traps on people and hitting them with the bounce pad attack.
