So I take it, that's the picture people were talking about in the Vita thread. I can't believe that somebody seriously didn't know that that's how a game looks like when the textures haven't been loaded yet.

Our generation is the one that leads to the "idiocracy  future" you better believe that alot of people are really retarded.

"The framerate is nowhere near as smooth as it is elsewhere. Armored Edition doesn't really have slowdown – instead, there's a consistent choppiness to animation. I hope this is a problem Unreal Engine 3 developers get sorted out quickly. In any case, it's not a reason I would avoid Armored Edition (it still looks great), but be aware you're not getting the best-looking version." - Joystiq

Yeah, I read that, too.  Looks like Unreal Engine 3 is going to need to be re-tuned for Wii U.  That really shouldn't be happening.

How can you be a console gamer and not recognize texture pop ins. Especially a PS3 gamer.

Early PS3, texture pop-in was more the rule rather then exception.

Texture pop-in has always been a problem on consoles, but not as bad as the image the OP posted.

Borderlands on PS3 has taken almost 30 seconds to load textures for me before.

Does this really need to even be asked? Textures hasn't loaded yet.

It was obvious, but from the rest of that Video i would say 360 > PS3 > Wii u Version.

Atto Suggests...:

Book - Malazan Book of the Fallen series

Game - Metro Last Light

TV - Deadwood

And it's especially apparent in games running on the Unreal 3 engine...which this game runs on. So yeah, this pic tells us nothing but the comparison video by GT was pretty good and I posted the differences I noticed in my previous post. Looked almost identical.

Yeah i wouldn't expect them to look different.

I mean Wii U isn't that much more powerful, and the unreal engine tends to suck on a console until that console gets it's first Epic game.   Which knowing Epic might doom the Wii U to a forever crappy unreal engine.  Don't know if they have any Wii U games planned.

When Gears came out, suddenly 360 unreal was the shit, then unreal tournament and PS3 really caught up.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
