PlayStation All Stars Has Over 1000 Unlockables: Taunts, Costumes, Intros, Outros, Oh My!

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale‘s lead game designer, Omar Kendall, sat down with IGN editors Colin Moriarty and Greg Miller to stream and record over an hour of Battle Royale’s final build. The session revealed some interesting All-Stars facts, including a huge myriad of unlockables.

While outlining the different ways you can personalize your PlayStation All-Stars player card, over a 1000 options were eagle-eyeballed by PSASArena:

• 108 backgrounds.
• 340 icons.
• 629 FFA titles.
• 539 team titles.
• 20 minions.

This is without even accounting for the much more interesting character specific unlocks. In the stream, you can see several unlockable customization options for Toro, including:

• 3 different costumes.
• 3 different taunts.
• 4 different battle intros.
• 4 different outros.
• 3 different victory songs.

So while PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale may not feature any unlockable characters, there’s clearly a lot to work for . Which All-Stars are you planning on extensively personalizing?

What are titles, and why do I need so many?

I'm just going to guess....like the titles in Call of Duty?

Pre-Ordered over PSN last night. So excited.

17 unlockables just for Toro. Assuming all 20 characters have the same amount of unlockables that means 340 character specific unlocks. Add in what's listed in the op and that makes for 1976 unclockables. Near 2000. That's a lot of content =D. And of course there's the Pre-order costumes bringing the total 1996 pieces of content.

ZOMG, FF7 was released on Jan 1997. That's practically 1996!!! FFVII remake confirmed!!!
