Forums - Microsoft - Xbox 720: XBW uses penultimate issue to 'tell you everything we know'

I'd really appreciate if you could use your old 360 HDD and memory cards on the new system, mainly 'cause I can't access the e-mail address that I used for my live account and wouldn't be able to transfer it over to the new system otherwise :P

Wouldn't expect it though.

Given that you can't use your old xbox360 HDD in the new slim 360, the chances of using them in the nextbox are... small.

Am I the only one that finds odd their speculation that it will be called Xbox, just like the first one?

From the harware, that 4 core/16 threads CPU can only mean an IBM CPU, something that goes against the latest AMD rumors, and why do they need a TV input? Will it be the ultimate media machine by also being able to record your TV shows?

Please excuse my bad English.

Former gaming PC: i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Current gaming PC: R5-7600, 32GB RAM 6000MT/s (CL30) and a RX 9060XT 16GB

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Can't 2013 come faster ?

March,April and May will be amazing.

Sounds amazing...but,but I wanted 16gbs of ram. jk!

Looks like it'll be a pretty good increase in power compared to the 360.

You can use the old HD you just need to take them out their enclosures and use something to stablize them in the Slim. I used the packing foam for the Slim, and it works like a charm. But in the case of different gen I doubt it will happen.

I've always found the Xboxes to be butt-ugly, but that is the best-looking console I've ever seen.

Wow, I would actually buy the one they designed, it looks pretty neat.

Looks like they added a silver strap to this:

That's cheating. You had to "break" it in order to put it on the new one.

Not quite... clear difference in shape (rec vs square), materials and buttons. :D
