Ninja Gaiden
You ever wonder why the current remakes of Ninja Gaiden are so dam hard? Well, that is because the original was even tougher. Remember those dam birds that would always get you when you tried to jump! Ninja Gaiden on the NES was one beast of a game and one of toughest games ever released, but is also my favorite game of all time.
The Adventures of Bayou Billy
Back in the day when the beatem-up was king, The Adventures of Bayou Billy sought to kick your teeth in and leave you bloody and bleeding in a Louisiana swamp. This game was just totally awesome and mixed in beatem-up, driving and even light gun/zapper levels into one tough game. The Adventures of Bayou Billy is a true NES classic that will kick your face in, but is worth playing.
The Gaurdian Legend
They don’t make them like this anymore. Like The Adventures of Bayou Billy, The Guardian Legend was a game that mixed different gameplay elements into one kick-ass blend of gaming goodness. The Guardian Legend was one part RPG and one part shootem-up, but all parts a brutal game to beat.
Blaster Master
This game was deceptively and ridiculously hard. I mean all you had to do was save your pet dog Fred that fell into a hole in the ground. I can’t say much about this game because I didn’t make it too far in the adventure – poor Fred. L
Mike Tyson’s Punch Out
This game is a true classic and is really not that hard until you get to the final 3 fighters, Mr. Sandman, Super Macho Man and of Mr Dream aka Mike Tyson. I personally never beat Mike Tyson on my own but I seen it done, and it is no easy task. Easily an all time top 5 NES game, but one that will knock you out repeatedly.
Section Z
I never beat this game, but if you beat this game without using a code or guide, you’re a dam lier. That’s all I have to say about Section Z.
So that's my list of the NES' toughest but best games. Did you beat any of these games? Do you think any game is missing from this list? Did you beat Section Z - if you did you're lieing!

I love My Wii U, and the potential it brings to gaming.
