So, I love watching tech-demos, screenshots and what will you off Next-Gen engines, because well I am a graphics whore, so I wanted to know which you felt are Next-Gen engines, and which seems the best to you?

I'll start with a few that I know off from the back of my head:

Unreal Engine 4:

Frostbite 2:

Cryengine 3:

Id tech 5:

Luminous Engine:

 PS: No screens or gameplay videos of games built on custom in-house engines that do not have openly shared tech-demos, so no Halo 4 or The Last of Us media!

My fav is the Luminous Engine demo, truly a thing of beauty. I find it superior both technically and aesthetically.

Unreal Engine looks the best. I'm eager to see games on powerful machines using it.

Sadly Unreal Engine 4 looks best. I say sadly because Unreal is already a dangerously dominant actor on the market and competition is always good.

id Tech 5, Frostbyte 2 and CrisisEngine 3 were used by almost no games in this gen. Meanwhile there's dozens and dozens who used Unreal engine 3.

I think they're all solid technologies but there is a substantial difference in the target audience of the presentations, and also a pretty large difference between the hardware platforms each of these engines is running on ...

They all look great but i believe the Luminous Engine and Unreal Engine 4 win!

I'm surprised you haven't thrown Fox engine up there.

Am I the only one thinking we'll never even see a game using the Luminous Engine from Square-Enix?

UE3 will have quite a kick for the first couple years of next gen 

Especialy when highly modified 

A4's engine should be next gen ready

Unity is getting better and better

I can't wait to see what RED engine 2.0 looks like

CryEngine is pretty damn great

Oh and for the work of 2 people Praxis is fucking mind blowing

Denuia 2 doesn't look too shabby
