I think it's a new console and a new gen =p But I see a lot of comments like "we need new HW now", and in the mean time Wii U is about to launch in 2 weeks... new hw IS coming

The people saying we need new HW are PS3/360 guys.

To them, WiiU is not new hardware. It's Nintendo finally stepping into this gen.

Wii U is both new hardware, and finally stepping into the HD generation.

We need new hardware, not just because we're bored of it and because games are lacking in creativity, but because the industry as a whole is dying.
