Indeed, but more time on the road means more people can take pictures and video of her standing there being humiliated. You get better internet coverage of her humiliation if you give her a week's worth of time.

While the punishment pretty hilarious, I'm a little mad she got off so easy.
If this were a one-time thing, sure, whatever, but if you watch the video it's obvious that this woman does this often. A slap on the wrist punishment and a $250 fine isn't going to teach a moron like that, give her jail time. Seriously, she's not only driving on the sidewalk, she's driving on the sidewalk around where children load and unload. At the very minimum she should at least never get her license back.

I agree here. I'm not sure where this took place, but if any VGC'ers are near they should go record it and put it on youtube for all to see.

I was reading in the youtube comments that one of the entrances she was using for her maneuver belongs to a daycare center which adds a little more insult to her actions. Also, another comment has the daughter saying that this was the first time she did it while there is at least two times shown on the video.
Wait a second, this moron actually plead not guilty?
She deserves so much more for wasting everyone's time.

Yea, that video actually talks about the daycare center. Going to embed it in the op.

Definitely agree. Pleading not guilty? Seriously!?
Obviously a classic case of a jackass who thinks she's infallible and privileged over everyone else. God, I hate people like that...
Yeah, just thinking about it a little more, this woman is just infuriating.
1. She's driving on a sidewalk
2. She's not stopping for a schoolbus
3. She has no regard for the kids loading/unloading from the school bus
4. She has no regard for the kids in the daycare center
5. She has made a habit out of this
6. She blatantly lies in court (she says she's only done it that once when there's multiple videos of her doing it)
7. She's wasting the courts time by appealing and will probably appeal again.
This woman is a jackass of the highest douchbaggery level and deserves whatever the maximum penalty is, not just a 30 day license suspension, a small fine, and a silly punishment. She's a public menace and if I lived in that community I would be calling for much more.

That's absolutely ridiculous, if you're following the same route as a bus, the journey would be an absolute nightmare. If a bus stops here and no car is coming the other way, we just go round it. Bearing in mind this is on much smaller roads with higher speed limits.

Our children aren't as smart as other nations children since we lag in education. Also, our children have been getting fatter each year so they can't make it across the street that fast. It makes sense in the USA.
P.S. Most kids are stupid and make mistakes (forget to look).
