I like backwards compatibility. It means I can finally get rid of my Wii.

Backward compatability is important to me as I want to be sure I can play all my old games as I have quite a colection. I dont have enough time to play them but that is another story. I bought another gamecube second hand to be sure I could keep playing them even though I have two Wiis.

Backwards compatibility is never a bad thing in my eyes. Like others, I like to be able to go back to my old games every once in awhile and give them a go when I have the urge. Even if if I have a Wii already, doesn't mean it might not conk out someday or the like. Having another option is always nice.

Unfortunately for me, I need to keep it for my GC games.

I don't even use my GC anymore thanks to Metroid Prime: Trilogy.
