Like I said in the other thread, in the January Investors' meeting Iwata said they plan to push into Asian markets with WiiU using digital distribution. The same probably holds true for 3DS.

Probably going to be hacked sooner or later and pirated the hell out of it, just like DS :D I could imagine that it wasn't because of lack of DD why Nintendo weren't eager to push hardware outside of three major markets, like, say, Sony. The question was raised multiple times on investors mettings, so Iwata got that covered multiple times as well.
IQue has made versions of many of nintendoes consoles. 3DS is not the first. They all use digital games also as far as I know. Nothing new here.

lol... thing is they could.. anything can happen.. ONLY once they hacked the vita to run hacked DS/3DS games on it.. then you have a sony console with cheap Nintendo games! ..
"For good" would suggest that the 3DS will sell over 150 mil, and faster than the DS did. So it would be the fastest console to 150 mil in video game history. Just because it's going to be sold in China.
Hey, I'm sure it'll sell a few thousand in China or whatever. It'll sell alright I guess. But this will hardly be the deciding factor for worldwide 3DS sales going forward.
