For those that don know

Im definitely impressed. A hell of lot less clicking and the ability to use Filter and Sort options to self organize is a blessing

i am also impressed.  way easier to find stuff now.  just rediscovered some old titles i had always met to get.  way faster at loading videos and stuff too.  and i like that i can find all the dlc for a game from the main game page as well. i only need 1 more feature to be fully happy ... a wish list to keep track of the games i want to buy at some point.

good work sony, finally some upgrades the aren't about curbing piracy lol.

Am I the only one who found the startup time for the new PS Store extremely long? Must have been about 40-60 seconds.....

The thing is I didn't have to download any PS Store app since I had already downloaded it on m UK account to try the store out.(I'm from the US). Should I delete the app and re-download it while on my US account?

Startup gets so bad that the 1st time I thought the PS3 froze.

This is easily the best new feature, took them long enough. And I always wondered why no company implements a wish list in their stores - there's none on PS3, none on 360 (afaik), even iOS - where it's even more needed imo - doesn't have one.

Yes it does take longer. But you will find that browsing the store, once its loaded will be much quicker than before. Especially since you navigate all round the store just from the main screen rather than having to go through multiple screens. So I still see it as a positive. 

It's a very impressive upgrade imo. Only the startup takes that long, I am predicting once an update, ie. once a week. I closed the app and started it again, and it was very fast. Within 10 seconds.

Very nice. Searching is so easy I am amazed.

My only gripe it that popping in and out takes time now. Something like 10 seconds to get in, 5 seconds to get out. Other than that, it's a pretty nice upgrade.

Much, much better now. The search and the filter are really good, but what impressed me the most was the way you have everything tied together about a single game (the game, demo, avatars, dlc etc).
