So.. their main website has almost zero information about this game, it doesn't even say it's out yet (lol wtf?) and I'm not finding much information on the game with outside sources such as wikipedia.

Care to explain what this game is about in more detail? Also, I fear for this game's sales as this is a monumental fail in advertising and promotion especially with such a high price tag. *Face palm...*

Doubt it.

Give it a try.

A try? I would gladly give it a try if there was a demo, but no chance - this is PS3, not 360 (where you get demos for almost anything). Plus the game is 15 GB, it woud take me forever with my connection, because, again - this is PS3, not 360 (where downloads are waaay faster).

I loved Flower, still my favorite PS3 game, and I really liked Journey, but I'm not sure I'll like Swan. Videos and trailers didn't convince me at all. A short demo would have been great to find out, but I won't spent money on a game which will probably never be downloaded to my PS3 HD due to the ridiculous PS3 download speed (new system updates usually take 30 to 45 minutes with my connection).

Same goes for Okami (among my most favorite Wii games): 6.2 GB DL, 20€ for the HD version? No, thanks. I love this game and I'd easily spent those 20€ for a retail Okami HD, but not for a huge download on a system that slow.

15GB??? 1.5GB or 1505MB.

Anyway the download here is fast... my PS3 downloded the game is less than 1 hour.

1.5 GB? Oops, my bad, I read the store info as 15 GB. Seems I really need to buy that larger TV sooner than planned (I'll replace my 32'' with a 47'').

This changed everything: game purchased a few minutes ago, download will take about 90 minutes.

Are the European servers that bad? I don't notice any difference in download speeds between ps3 and 360. The dashboard update for 360 actually took longer then the last ps3 update including the painfully slow install process.

Anyway the solution is simple, start download, go to the left side of the xmb, choose turn off console after download is complete. Go to bed, and the next day the game is installed and ready. Or go play on the 360 in the mean time.

I don't know, but at least in my home 360 downloads are much faster than PS3. After ca. 10 mins 70MB of 1.5GB (or 4%) of U-Swan are downloaded.

That sucks. Infamous 2 is over 15gb to download, that took quite a while. Especially since I had to pause it for a few days because I was over my monthly download limit.... Digital downloads are not the immediate future.

Anyway I hope you like it.
