Opahs word can make millions of American women buy books, Kinect and KFC. She has the power get females fall for the Surface. Microsoft definitely paid her. Shes not the worlds wealthiest self made woman for nothing.

The surface sure is a very good looking device, but due to it's pricing I'm not interested in purchasing one ..  I guess that's the main similarity I can see to a Mercedes in this case ;).


I don't watch Oprah. I don't like Oprah.  I'm not arsed what she says or does. But she carries weight.... If you'll pardon the pun.

If you want to sell extremely high numbers you attract females. Look what it's done for pop music, malls and basically anywhere popular. It'

I don't know where you get your information but the OWN has been struggling and has just started to pick up steam.  For example, OWN's most watched show is around 800,000 viewers and Liftimes is 6.2 million viewers.

OWN is one of the top five ranked channels boasting loyal female followings 25-50 on weekends. You might be right but at some point but with television things change.

Tell me the reason?In some other threads i read "OMG I CAN USE INTERNET EXPLORER ON MY 360 with it"...Why would you do that?
The Browser on my Galaxy S3 or an Iphone5 is much faster and so is every other browser on PC...No one except for old people(and not even those if they have good grand/children) is using Internet Explorer anymore.

There is no valid reason for the Surface...Not even the Ipad4.
But everyone knows what you can expect from an Ipad - Its a statussymbol for the cool kids these days.
Surface is...well...overhyped like Kinect?Im still waiting for the Games that play 1:1 like Gears of War,Uncharted,Battlefield 3 and all that promised stuff that would be available at launch with perfectly fluid motion controls.
Biggest disappointment in the Kinect "Gaming" History is surely the DragonBall Game that was teased as the biggest thing ever > Do weird things with your hand that have absolutely nothing to do with the motions from the Manga/Anime...Great job!
Sorry but the Surface has no valid reason to be hyped that much.

Even Oprah knows which tablet is the best. I think this will do good for MS.
