Agreed but I was only giving a minimum sales required to make it worth EA's effort.....not what I expect it to actually sell.
The rEVOLution is not being televised

I think it is fairly reasonable to assume that EA knew the Wii U was going to be released 12 to 18 months ago, probably was one of the first publishers/developers approached by Nintendo, and they waited until 6 months before the release of the system to begin work on a game that would (almost certainly) be released at launch. It sounds to me like EA is (once again) betting against the Wii U ...
After they bet against the Nintendo DS, Wii, and 3DS they have bet against the Wii U ... If this turns out poorly for them (as it most certainly will) the management team should be fired; but that would require investors holding the management team accountable for their poor decisions, which probably won't happen.
I hate EA and unfortunately they consumed some of my favorite developers (Westwood, Bioware, etc).
I had this game on pre-order but when I found out they gimped it to such a degree I swapped it for ME3, and while I always intended to get ME3 their trilogy move changed my mind (I had the first 2 on PC) so it pains me to support them at all and I will do as little of it as I can manage in the future, hoping one day the company is broken up due to their horrible nature.
That has to be the worst written article I've read in my entire life. After that 6 month development Megaton there's one question that the world and his wife wants to know - WHY have they had only 6 months worth of dev time when they've had dev kits for what, 18 months to 2 years now..?
And has the U SKU of FIFA had the same sort of treatent..?
