Probably making a new topic for 8th gen, so pay your respects

so many good games and this gen begins pretty lackluster ;_; although even these awards began for me in 08, which is like 1-2 years after 7th gen began...

So.. 2015-16 should be good! hopefully.. (thats not to say 06-07 was bad)

I will never understand how Skyrim got more GOTY awards than SS, Arkham City, etc.. >_>

PS3 domination. Apart from that I find it extremly funny that the wii u skipped the xbox 360 when you gave points to how exclusives ranked in GOTY rankings.

Ill probably make one for 8th gen but no more for 7th. Once 8 is out, its kinda bleuh to keep track of 7. Youll probably see some multi games which could pretty much count towards 8. Have a hard time seeing the big 3 supporting old consoles exclusively.

And as for Mario 3d world.. I dunno. Wii U kinda.. came before the PS4/X1 with a great game in its first year so.. it got one XD

Do any of those games have a >90 meta? If you look at the top 5, most of those games throughout the years have over 90 meta score (usually top 3 atleast). I only know one of the top of my head and thats Dark Souls 2.

I dunno, I generally think this year was fucking dreadful in terms of games atleast so far. The only reason 7th is even remotely relevant is because 8 hasn't really started. But you can still see the support for 7 getting less and less (most are multis, exclusives coming for 8th). It's just not that interesting imo.
