I am still trying to decide on whether I want to buy the N64 version used for 22 dollars or not.

Anyway, I'm very excited for this game. I don't care that it doesn't have partners though, because a fun game without partners is still a fun game. Paper Mario SS here I come!

Get it on the virtual console for $10 instead?

No need to pre-order when I can download it any time I want. =)

As much as I love all previous PM games, I'm a bit skeptical on this one... I'll be waiting to hear feedback from you guys.

I pre-ordered it for 25$. How much will you be paying it as digital?

Wait, how are you purchasing it for $25? Is this some sort of standard pricing at a specific retailer?

And of course I don't need to answer your question, you know how much Nintendo loves to rip off their digital consumers. I'd be paying full retail MSRP for it, but hey.. at least it'll be there at launch day? It's more than I can say for Sony and Microsoft. =/

I asked you that question to highlight the fact that the point of pre-ordering (at least for me) is to get the game at a discounted price.

There are so many retailers out there offering pre-order deals (like 20$ off, 15$ off, etc.).

I bought Pokemon Black/White Version 2 for 15$ each the other day. The price was originally 35$ but then it was 10$ off if you pre-ordered and another 10$ off of in-store credits.

Other games I have pre-ordered: Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time (39,99$), PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale (39,99$), New Super Mario Bros. U (39,99$), Beyond: Two Souls (39,99$), The Last Of Us (39,99$), Tomb Raider (39,99$), Call of Duty: Black Ops II (39,99$), etc.

I can always cancel my pre-orders if I don't want the game anymore.

And on top of that you can combine those deals with trade-in offers. Essentially the store is sometimes giving me 5$ for buying a game lol But that's too complicated to explain :P But legal!

@spurge- Its strange that i never got round to playing the original Luigis Mansion, and im a massive fan of the Gamecube, so the 3DS version will be my introduction to the series. I have heard nothing but good things about it .

Looks weak compared even to Super Paper Mario. I really don't know why party members were omitted. I hope it's good but i've always been more of a Mario and Luigi RPG guy.

I cancelled my pre-order for this game for one reason only. It would reach me 4 days AFTER it releases. I am going to physically go up to a store that sells the game and buy it in person on the day of launch so I get my game on time. Sucks that they had to release the game on a Sunday.

That's crap man, but probably  made the right choice.

Actually, the best choice is to download it from the eShop.  However, I want the physical game because I like having the game cases.
