Parody is protected under first amendment, no legal leg to stand on. Otherwise people like Weird Al Yankovic be screwed.

Remember when Coolio was pissed off at Weird Al?  lol

Ha! Yeah, you can get annoyed all you like, but you can not sue someone over it.  I mean Futurama made a whole episode parody based around mocking Apple and the "EyePhone".

yes apple will sue, the girl has round curves.

LMFAO

Most definitely. They'll sue over anything. It can be over a guy painting a portrait of someone looking at you while holding a bitten apple.

If they really do sue R* then apparently these idiot's can't take a joke.

I'm confused, MBP.  Is your fury stemming from the fact that, as some other user (erroneously, IMO) suggested, making a correlation between "fruit" and "gay"?  There is no overly-flamboyant stereotype in the add, so I think you're reading a little too much into that, as I don't believe that was Rockstar's intention, but I could be wrong.

However, if you're just taking offense to the fact that Rockstar's having a little fun with the Apple brand, that's a bit silly IMHO.

This poster has so much atmosphere than the entirety of GTA4.

Dontcha think so

Yep, Apple will sue

It's obviously 100% serious and not a parody at all.

Cant see any basis for a potential suit really. In a kids show I used to watch the computers always pears on the back of them. Apple never made any fuss over that.Besides 'iFruit' could be a paraody of Blackberry.

You mean iCarly? You can say it. We won't make fun of you.

@bold
Nope. It's an obvious parody of the iPhone.

No, it wasn't that. Wasn't young enough to be watching those programmes when that started. Although the one I'm talking about is probably just as bad in this context.
