Just a update on how my journeys going :D

Ive been playing DKR for awhile today, starting to get the hang of sliding better, insane when you go left to right or right to left. Learnt that while doing the coin runs. I've now got 14 balloons i believe, still just as fun as when i first started playing.

Also never knew that if you powersliding and you hold brake as well it goes into a even tighter turn. Guess that a Playstation side coming out in me. Also the snow levels are much harder than the normally ones not looking forward to doing coin runs on that.

Whats your favorite type of race? (bare in mind ive only done one hovercraft) I'm loving place races soo difficult to get that ..."powersliding" in that down pat.

I'm so glad you've loving Diddy Kong Racing. It's really one of the all-time great N64 games, and I truly think it's head and shoulders above Mario Kart 64.

Do you have a favorite racer? Mine was always Pipsy, although she struggled in the hovercraft stages.

I played Mario at my friends house (same place i played GE) i didnt really enjoy playing it but that was with 3 other people playing it at the same time, i could barely see far enough infront to see what was coming so you kind of needed to know the track ect. Was poor rendering but with a old console and game i guess maybe my judgement was to high.

My faverite so far is that scunk? or panada looking guy.

And i def think its going to take a long time to master this game very very quick refexes are needed.

I forgot to mention Wave Race 64 which everyone else forgot to mention also.

Turok 2 Seeds of Evil. Masterpiece of its time.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

I even enjoyed Turok Rage Wars which was mainly a multiplayer game. It had bots and pretty unique weapons in it.  It kicked the shit out of the South Park FPS which somehow I was still able to enjoy when a friend rented it even though it wasn't the greatest.

Right on! Rage Wars was good game, and a really good multiplayer shooter.

Ooops forgot the Rage part but yea I had a lot of fun with it.  It was pretty unique considering Rage Wars and Perfect Dark were one of the few console FPS to have bots at the time.  Playing with humans was a lot more fun but if you only had 2 people you could add another 2 bots (4 player max). Perfect Dark allowed more bots in multiplayer and probably had more options to customize their style of play.

Yeah, Rage Wars and Perfect Dark are probably the games most responsible for my (perhaps unrealistic) expectation that every first-person shooter have bots.

But with the rise of online multiplayer, I think bots are an afterthought for most developers.

I agree with this recommendation.  Waverace is a a very unique and challenging racer.
