Even though I've been a part of 3 cycles of Nintendo launching consoles.....

I don't remmeber anything about when they release the reviews for thier games....

Are we even going to get them before launch?

I just looked up Red Steel, as an example of a Wii launch title. Most of the reviews seem to be from Christmas 2006 or January 2007.

The IGN review was posted November 20, 2006, one day after launch.

They will probably have them the same day the console launches.

Too late for 1st day buyers, but useful for the rest of us.

NDA's release just before launch so you can expect a few then.

It's also possible that a few of the bigger outlets may have exclusive deals that see their NDA release a few days earlier.

All others without an NDA will publish reviews at close to launch as they can.

Not before Nov 16th

From what I remember, the days leading up to the launch of most consoles many/most of the biggest gaming sites will have reviews for most of the more popular games ... With most smaller sites and smaller games seeing reviews in the week following launch.

For the Wii U, I would expect sites to start having reviews for games sometime between November 11th and November 16th.

ONM have a review blowout on the 26th November in their newest issue (I think), which is before the EU release date. I'd imagine first reviews will come on the American launch date; or a day before.
