Is there any information on Queen?

There is no footage on it as far as I have seen.

Was just on this broadcast and it just looked like it it was a normal storm.

Hi. Manchester, CT here. We had winds pretty much all day. We had steady winds of 35-45 from 1pm to about an hour ago. Gusts we near 70mph multiple times and I have branches all on top of the house and around house. However, some homes had trees fall onto them and that's pretty damn bad. Going to check damage tomorrow and hope for no shingle damage/split trees and/or power line threats.

The winds are dying down now but we have coastal flooding and it will be worst starting at midnight.

Other states got hit hard. This hurricane had a HUGE wind field. Even people in Maine felt gusts close to what Connecticut felt.

I am VERY VERY lucky to have power.

It's just that simple.

Something I really don't like is the fact that mostly any news site that mentions New York only talks about NYC or Long Island. Like the rest of the state doesn't even exist. Yeah times are hard in NYC, but seriously they aren't the only people alive and in harms way here.

@Leo-J

I live in Stamford, CT. not hit as badly but the winds been something fierce as I live on a hill, there's alot of trees here a couple went down but none have it the power lines. luckily we didn't get it as bad as the others, I wouldn't say we dodged a bullet but scathed us compared to a state like New Jersey which has been taken a beaten all day. the worst of the storm is the storm surge for us. High tide's right around the corner I believe and I have many friend who live near or on the water.

Trees falling and fires. OMG!

Our power was out for about 2 hours this evening, and some heavy rain/wind...but nothing more. No crazy flooding or whatever.

watching the news as I type and it seems NYU hospital lost power and the generator has failed O_O!!!
