Halo 4 by pretty much every review even ones like Eurogamer where they tend to have an agenda against Microsoft stuff say its the best Halo game. Yet only give an 8. LOL Eurogamer.

Pretty much the best Halo game ever made. And its not that lazy arse developer called Bungie from a tech standpoint.

I disagree. At least a little bit.

If a big game achieves let's say 85% on Meta it's seen as a huge disappointment. Why? Because game reveiwers are only using half of the scale.

If a game site rates something 60% it means a 1 in movie terms.

If a game site rates something 70% it means a 2 in movie terms.

If a game site rates something 80% it means a 3 in movie terms.

If a game site rates something 90% it means a 4 in movie terms.

If a game site rates something 95% it means a 5 in movie terms.

You would report me for saying taking one of the main pillars of a franchises gameplay is dumb. IMO? Of course I wouldnt be banned for that. Thats like saying hey I think they should take stabbing people out of Assassins Creed because it feels dated. Or hey we should remove platform jumping out of Mario because it really feels dated.

No Iron sights is litteraly the ENTIRE point of the combat in Halo. No one in the entire core fanbase of 10 million or so gamers wants them to add that. So thus it would be a dumb choice. Im not calling you dumb as I know your not but that decision certainly would be

You have been hating on Microsoft products and games pretty much since you got your PS3. Your a very different person to who you were on here when you first arrived. I used to ride into battle with you back when VGC had alot more Xbox fans here. Now your like Slimebeasts darkside twin. That killed off the legendary Jedi Slimebeast.

Ive always viewed Eurogamer like that. Previous Exclusives, Surface RT recently. Halo 4.

Then look at Sony exclusives. Ipad, Nexus 7. 

Microsoft agenda definately.

I have a review copy of Halo 4 myself and I can assure you that this game is perfect. It's an ultimate Halo - no weaknesses.

As for the graphics - IQ on par with Forza Horizon.

after reading only two reviews it sounds as it is a great game for halo fans and still no game for people who don't like halo so sounds to me as if 343i did a perfect job. i don't really care if a game isn't good for the guy who did hope for some change, i care about the game which i will love and it seems to be exactly that, the next halo game i will play 500+ hours (which depends how fast i get the next halo game with own multiplayer)

Yeah I get what you guys are saying and dont disagree. Certainly a game would much rather have a 96 Meta then a 91 Meta. I just mean that it seems like some people put way too much emphasis on a couple decimal points. I mean Ive seen in forums before people saying a sequel was a "total failure" because one game in the franchise got a 93 and the other one a 91. Thats just insane to me that 0.2 decimal points means so much to some people.
But I get where you guys are coming from just in general when I see anything over 90 I know its something that I need to play. I mostly judge in whole points personally.

I'm sure Halo 4 is a fantastic Halo game. IMO though, its missing a couple modern elements. I guess that's why I don't own an Xbox 360. Halo isn't really that appealing to me.
