LBP is a one hit wonder and the reason it is has to do with OG LBPbeing so massively hyped it became the number 1 reason why it was bought. LBP2 is alittle over half the sales of original. Half of the buyers did not return. LBP has been on decline and I definitely see bomb in retrospect to the series and average in world view. SONY has not pushed this at all only adds to the troubles.

A lot of LBP 1's sales came from being a Christmas release, however LBP2 didn't have that, but it still had respectable sales.

I'll be getting LBP Karting for Christmas, the house has gotten bored of Mario Kart and we love LBP, so its a natural fit :)

Without checking I'm pretty sure that the sales weren't even that good for the holiday season but they picked up after Christmas.
Not saying that the sales in January were higher than during December, but it had good legs over several months.

Played the beta, big time flop.

Unless the holidays help it or bundles i don't see this one selling like the previous games.

love littlebigplanet so im looking forward to this.

Little big planet was a flop on the Vita so this one will be a mega flop. I'd be suprised if it sells 50,000 units lifetime.

By that logic karting will sell billions. LBP Vita is the best in the series and has sold the worst (even though it by no means has flopped) so Karting which will be reviewed the worst will sell the best. Or maybe it has nothing to do with quality and gamers just don't care anymore :(

To be honest ive kinda had my fill with LBP. I enjoyed the original and even the PSP one, was loving the sequel until i had to get a bigger harddrive, then i realized that most of my progress and whatnot was tied to the game install data instead of seperate save data like a normal freaking game. SO i dont even play that anymore. I still play Modnation which is great, i got Mario Kart7 if i want something more relaxing and that new Sonic racer is coming out and that looks better than LBPkarting

Probably won't pick this up at launch. I might pick it up over the holiday season if there's some sort of sale.

Modnation disappointed me, only if reviews are really high I'll buy it.
