am I the only one who likes anime but has NO IDEA what One Piece is?

Ranma 1/2, nice to see someone appreciating the classics.

Let's see....as an anime person I would have to say some of the Series I've liked best would be:

Full Metal Alchemist (subbed)
Fruits Basket (Dubbed)
Death Note (subbed, and only to a certain point)
Saikano (subbed, one of the saddest animes ever.....EVER)
Naruto (subbed, was a section of crappiness but it's back to it's norm)
Bleach (subbed)
Shingetsutan Tsukihime (subbed, crazy vampire anime)

and finally something more On Topic:

As everyone has suggested....if you are hating the new english voices then just suck it up and start reading subtitles, really the best solution.  Although it doesn't sound like you ever enjoyed....but I hear the subbed version is far better.

 What i like about Bobobo is that it's actually very funny.  Despite the fact that 70% of it had to be changed since most of the jokes are based on jokes about japanese culture, events and animes that haven't even released here.

I'm not sure why they decided to localize it... but i'm glad they did.  

 I wonder if i would of liked the show is i read it subbed. (One piece that is.)

Can't now... the voices are just soo bad.  They old ones sucked too and still ring in my head when i try to watch other versions.  I literally can't watch it... which is weird for me, because even if i don't like something so long as it's animated i can usually sit through it.  Unless it's like... drawn together or something real stupid like that. 

Air Gear and Girls Bravo eh...I'll have to look into those

On the subject of whether Sub or Dub is better I find it really depends on what you start the series with. If I start watching an anime as Dubbed then I get used to the voices and I grow to like it...but if I watch a sub first and then try to switch to a dub, the voices usually just drive me nuts because they sound off to me somehow. I find I can switch from Dub to Sub (sometimes...didn't work for Ranma 1/2), but not ever from Sub to Dub, but I will take your suggestion under advisement and check out that version of Death Note.

I'm trying to get into an new Anime now that I finished Evangelion.

if there's one anime that you would recommend (Dubbed please, I'm too lazy to read subtitle at this point)... What would you guys suggest? I want to get it at local bestbuy, Since I work there.

Hopefully not something that drags on for hundreds of episode. Thanks.

based on your liking of Ranma 1/2 I would suggest Fruits Basket. It's a really cute romantic comedy type anime that has some people changing into animals (hence the connection to Ranma in my head). Only 26 episodes and you can just stream them if you want, or buy....that's cool too.
