Yeah after playing it Im surprised by some of the lower end reviews, the gane really is great.

A lot different for AC too, they didnt just milk and rehash the same game they really tried to change things up

90+/AAA score is more or less a marketing tool for high profiled games with big advertising budgets. So many games have received higher review scores than they have deserved this generation.

I'm having a blast. And I'm on PS3 and I have to say that the graphics, draw distance, everything, is superb. I was worried that pop-in would be a problem, but, it's not so far. Everything is pretty crisp.

Yeah I agree, the review that said it had bad draw distance is completly incorrect. Graphically its FAR superior to the previous games. One of the most detailed open world games Ive ever played.

The writing and voice acting is incredibly top notch as well

I'm actually doing the review for GamrReview, and I'm wondering where the 7's are coming from. I have no idea where it'll end up (I don't do numbers until after I've played the whole game), but right now it's looking like a TRUE epic story. Long, tonnes of thing to do, unique, well developed, likeable characters, huge expansive world, well written story, plenty of variety.

but goddamn if I'm not losing pace. I just got the game today, am 4 hours in, and haven't even MET the protagonist yet. how's THAT for an introduction? this introduction has been longer than the entire Modern warfare 3 campaign!

Plus the issues with graphics/animations. Sadly, that one picture of the dude atop the church is accurate. and there ahve been some hangups with facial animations in cutscenes. Definitely gonna have to dock points for presentation in that respect, but it's looking very positive so far.
