Why does the first answer to a new (and good) PS3 bundle must be like this?

This doesn't contribute to the discussion. It doesn't discuss the bundle, the games or the price.

It just says: Tiz zukz, Xbox gonna sell Better!!!11!

If you stick around these forums long enough you will realise that kowenicki doesn't miss a chance to throw in a stealth troll comment when it comes to Sony. As soon as he is called out on it he gets defensive and claims he is unfairly being targeted. Unfortunately he is a pro at what he does and continues to get away with it. Better to just ignore his comments when he posts in Sony threads.

This is an excellent bundle, especially if it's 199$.
At this point, I don't think we're looking at people trying to get into the video game market, but people who already own and specifically want a different console. So, competition shouldn't really matter as much just based on the competing games.

It's a good bundle for someone new to the PS3. I don't really understand the logic that people don't want "old" games. Anyone who buys a PS3 and refuses to play anything that hasn't released inside of a couple of months is being foolish and only hurting themselves. This is a good deal with a lot of value.

Also, the idea that Sony shouldn't try to increase their holiday sales because the 360 is going to sell more is ludicrous and nonsensical. It's like saying Chevy should give up on trying to sell more trucks because Ford always sells the most--or that Microsoft should give up on trying to sell more 360s from January to October because Sony always sells more PS3s. It's just a silly concept.

I wonder why they went with InFamous?

I think it would be interesting if they went with an Assassins Creed bundle. Have the console come with AC I and II to get people interested (and buying) AC III on PS3.

A lot easier and cheaper to bundle your own products, I would imagine, plus you're building a fanbase for the Infamous franchise.  I'm sure there will be more on the PS4.
