howdy all, i,m a bit confused. this morning i bought the Dark Souls dlc, but the download was only 100k. What gives? how does the rest of the content get to my system and when? sorry if already posted, using this site on a phone can be tricky!

they might add the data as a patch (afaik that way they save money), while the dl from the store is just the activation

Patch 1.06 is about 350 MB. DLC is really just activation key. Don't worry, no DLC on disk, From Software isn't Capcom :/

Patch is same for all, so yes, some unlocked content if you don't buy DLC. There are some new items and spells, so you must have data for these items in case of PVP.

Btw: I'm talking about PS3 version, don't how it works on Xbox.

And guess what? The New Super Mario Bros. 2 DLC was pretty small, too. It downloaded in less than a second. I hate to say it but.....either my internet is super-fast or Nintendo has pulled a Capcom.

I thought you were talking about that only 100k people have downloaded it;..And well wanted to post that 100k is pretty good =p.
