That's more then half the total number of Wii's sold in the US in its launch month. Given that these aren't pre-orders, but people who couldn't GET pre-orders, that's pretty damn good.

Well would you rather pay $400 up front for it?  Nintendo will make any loss on hardwar eback in spades, especially since they're now charging $60 for first party titles, and they don't drop the prices of their games for years unlike their competitors.

You're right. Its true 1st party Nintendo titles never decrease in price lol It's the only company that can do that 



New Super Mario Bros 2 sold a shit load of digital sales if one were to look at the below graph

I really wonder how much money they are losing on the Wii U, can't imagine being more than $30 (and I think that's too much)
