Imopressive, very impressive. But to be fair the other console manufactor arent as long in the console buisness as nintendo is. But congrats anyway.

Being able to stay around that long in this business is impressive in and of itself. That should not be looked upon as a negative factor on these numbers because I do not see Sega posting these types of things.

My point is, Nintendo deserves all the praise they are getting because it takes many factors (one being longevity) to reach these milestones.

No, if they had same amount of console released Sony would sell more. Averige Sony console sells about 80 million, while NIntendo sells abot 50-55 million

With Vita factored in, Sony is currently averaging around 80 million per console.

Main Nintendo consoles, including 3DS, average about 70.
