Ok peeps, what is the best Sony franchise out there? 

GOW?  Uncharted? MGS?  What does and does not make da cut?

But since that was about PS3-only Sony franchises, I can be a bit broader with my answer.

I like: Ape Escape; Jak & Daxter; LittleBigPlanet; Ratchet & Clank; Syphon Filter; Wild ARMs; WipEout.

I would have trouble picking a firm favourite between those 7. Possibly WipEout or Ratchet.

1. Team "Ico" games
2. Ratchet and Clank
3. Little Big Planet

Well if we are talking about exclusives I'd say Uncharted.  If we are talking about multiplatform as well then Metal Gear Solid.  It's weird how some MGS games are exclusive to Sony while others are multiplatform

Socom is the greatest franchise ever produced by Sony. Unfortunately, the series has went way downhill lately. As for franchises today, I would have to say Ratchet & Clank.
