Who said this? Or is this something you made up? From what I have seen it will be an average upgrade over 360/PS3. |
What do you mean by average? A typical jump? That's usually pretty massive...

No they aren't pretty massive, you only say that because of the jump from PS2 to PS3. That isn't the usual jump in graphics, many also ignore last gen was SD and we made a jump to HD. The WiiU doesn't have that benefit.
He is just happy they didnt have to invest significant resources to port it. probably just dumped it over, was running just fine, and just needed to change the wrapping.

I don't say it because of the PS3. The SNES was a massive jump from the NES, the N64 and PS1 a massive jump from the SNES, the Dreamcast/PS2/GC/Xbox all a massive jump from the PS1/N64/Saturn.

How that works? I thought it was 1GB for VRAM and 1GB for system.
Or it 1GB for GPU + CPU and 1GB for "?"???

People keep saying why is Ninty not pushing their own platform? I answered, they are, just not in the way you would like, in other words we may see the next gen games for WiiU next year but not this year because Ninty needs to build a userbase, what game is better at doing that than Mario? We won't see those next gen games this year because the WiiU has a userbase of zero, so no 3rd party company will risk the investment and Ninty would rather have a high selling Mario game day one, than a highly rated Zelda game or whatever else could look pretty on the WiiU. |
You know what he meant. He was talking about the boundries of the hardware from a technical standpoint. If you had said, "they aren't because they don't need to," then that would have been a perfectly valid, and probably true, answer. Instead, you gave a defensive and insulting answer that made no sense in the context of the question.
Though I don't like Mario games, I actually agree that they don't need to push the envelope with titles in that franchise. Still, the way you answered was wrong, and there is absolutely no reason to get upset about anything.

They definitely weren't "massive jumps" but whatever. It isn't like we even know how much of a jump the WiiU is anyways. So nevermind don't wanna derail this thread anymore, I'm out.

Weren't massive? Clearly you weren't around at the time if you think that :P

2GB total, 1GB reserved for OS for now, once optimized, I expect that they will open more things for games like they did with the 3DS.

I did know what he meant, but now I see why you quoted me. Like I said, you guys feelings are just hurt. I answered the question in a way you didn't like and it probably burnt you up inside. Anyways I'm done with this thread so good day to you lol.
Edit: If it makes you happy, I edited some of my post, so they don't sound so angry or offensive.
