Forums - Sony - Holy Crap PS Plus is AMAZING!

Did someone mention yet, that Crysis 2 is coming to PS+ in november?

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

I have an 80GB PS3 with about 10GB left (I hope). I'm not one of those guys willing to open their PS3 and put a bigger HDD in there because I'm pretty sure I would make it explode. Then, my backwards PS2 compaibility will be gone forver. On top of that, I already buy pretty much any game I want and I already don't have time to pay them. I can't deny that PS+ is a great service. I won't say anythingbad about it. t's just not for me.

Time to replace the batteries in my wreless keyboard. It's skipping letters.

Lol!  I only noticed the ones that turned red from spellcheck.  Didn't even see that!

Yep, ps plus is the bees knees join the club.

PS Plus is great for people who want to play a game and then never touch it again (which is not a bad thing) but I can't get over the fact that I don't actually own these games. What if Sony goes the way of the dodo some way down the line or I don't have enough disposable income to pay for PS Plus anymore? I'd lose all those games I got over PS Plus and I'd much rather spend my money on games I actually own. This and you need time to play through the games you get with PS Plus... I don't have the time (nor do I want) to play through dozens of games a month.

Long story short: I'd love to like PS Plus but it just wasn't made for people like me. It's only for those of us who really game a lot (and I mean a lot!).

In my opinion, PS+ is an incredible service for parents and families on a budget. It seems like an excellent way to keep your kids content without shelling out for new games every time you turn around. If I were Sony, I'd advertise the hell out of it during the holidays. There is all this content to play immediately, which is kind of relevant, I think, given that so many blockbuster games can be completed in a few days. Imagine being a kid with a new console on christmas, and your parents picked up one game for it plus the subscription service--which one would keep them satisfied the longest amount of time before you had to take them to gamestop?

Sony really, really needs to get the information about PS+ into the minds of consumers, especially those looking at a first console.
