I am in shock in how Sony can afford a service such as PS+

Just Cause 2
Borderlands
Motorstorm Apocalypse
Virtua Fighter 5 Showdown
Dead Space 2
Lara Croft Guardian of the Light

are games I have not played but get the luxury of beating thanks to the service.

Then there's RDR, Infamous 2, LBP2, Deus Ex etc which are great games that truly help the community to experience good shit.

I've had XBL and I stopped paying. The fact that I cant play online disgusts me and where Sony is going with PS+ is just insane and unreal. My full and utter support for them.

I honestly feel overwhelmed by the fact that I usually buy games and make sure I beat them before proceeding to the next game (asuming the game isnt complete shit). But I find myself feeling rather odd as there just is no way for me to find the time to beat all of those, especially since I still have Arkham City on the PC along with AC3 approaching within just a couple of days. Oh yeah and there's All Stars too x_X

So you're saying you're paying for the convenience. So next gen how will you justify it? Its all well and good now, but we will have this conversation next gen I am sure. More power to you for liking Xbox Live, thats all well and good, but arguing for it is kind of becoming a joke. Arguing about what offers more and gives the consumer more savings is a joke as well. Just say you like Xbox Live because you like it, because theres no argument with bulletpoints that Microsoft can throw at PSN now outside for online speed and cross chat. A lot of people have come out to me and just admitted that they like the community, all their friends are on it. I paid for Xbox Live purely because of my friends as well. Theres no shame in it.

PS+ is the best thing ever made this gen, really great service.

i still don't understand why you talk about next gen. when did i say that i will pay for xbox live on nextbox next gen or that i want to justify it if as example playstation 4 will have exactly the same for free? i never had a preference for a console company so i absolutely don't care which company will have the service or console i will like most but i can't say it until i know them.

and it's not a joke what i say because it's the truth for me and like i already said (but you didn't quote it) i can also understand people who prefer psn above live so no clue what you are talking about "arguments which are only a joke" now lol. some people have more from live or the games for it, some have more from psn or ps+. i have more from xbox live so i pay for it because it's not free what i want there. and i never said live is better as psn on ps3, i said it's better for me.

i don't need ps+ stuff so i don't pay for ps+.

and i have no clue what's next gen nor do you so please, if you want to talk with me about next gen online services and what they have to offer, come back to me with it when we know about them. maybe nextbox will have something i "need" so i will pay for or maybe not but to talk about something we don't know yet is not very useful.

I wasnt talking about next gen services, I am talking about cross chat being available as part of the next Sony system. Sony WILL have it in the next console. Theres like a 99.9% chance they will. It's already in the vita for free (Therefore they dont think of it as a service). Again, who cares if you don't like PSN+ and like Xbox Live? Thats not my point. I said its pointless to argue at this point who offers more, if you can actually PROVE that its better via bullet points, please do it. Sony has given their consumers true choice. Microsoft said pay me or heres the door, plain and simple, theres no running around it. Enjoy Xbox Live.

yes sony will probably have it on ps4 but ps3 doesn't have it so you can repeat it as much as you want it doesn't make it better for me right now on my ps3 or 360 and it also doesn't make it better/worse for other people right now what the ps4 or nextbox will offer.

and if you don't care what i like more, why did you even start to talk with me and say i don't make an argument for the virtues of live? my first post was about my preference and why i prefer live because op said he doesn't understand why people prefer live over psn and i said him why i do.  i mean, it's not as if i ever said psn or live is better in general...

Which is why I said just leave it as is. Theres no further reason to talk about it. Besides did you read his whole first post? Xbox Live and PSN are meant for the same community of gamers, which is half the reason why Nintendo is staying out of their little squabbles in that area. Hes arguing that both are for two different types of gamers when that couldnt be any further from the truth.

i paid £30 for a year i'd say its worth it,it's not necessary but it's worth it,i'll download bulletstorm which i wouldn't have bought,i put infamous 2,RDR,just cause 2,MS apocalypse,borderlands and machinarium on my PS3 all of which i hadn't bought

i just wish they would let you rent a movie a month or something with plus,that would be really fly

i loose my internet soon for a couple of months and it's quite nifty i downloaded all these games to play if i want to
