I think vita will be successful as hardware but software is likely to end the same way it did as psp.

I hope the SW will be as good as the PSP (quality wise & not sales wise lol)

PSP is my favorite  systems this (past? )gen , but mainly becouse i like love japanese games (specially jrpgs).

Third party exclusives ? They still live ?

Hmm........Soul Sacrifice is the only one i know off

They do. Vita's competitor has lots of them.

And Soul Sacrifice is first party (the only real wild card in vita's line up, imo. Huge responsibility)

A quick look at my wish list and everything seems to be on more than one system at least!

What 3rd party exclusives we have for the 3DS/PS3/360 next year. Just highlight the important ones to make the list short.

Hopefully the Vita will have more 3rd party games announced for next year (Don't care if the have to be exclusive),

and I'm still looking forward to the WW releases for the Japanese titles like (YS: Sea of trees, Special reporting Division and

Earth Defense Force)

I'll just do for 3DS here - since 360/PS3 while having exclusives no doubt (especially PS3) share what the industry has best.

Monster Hunter 4

Shin Megami Tensei 4

Castlevania

Ace Attorney 5

Professor Layton 6

Magician's Quest

Youkai Watch

Guild 02

Magi (even games like these, based on Manga lacks on vita)

Pirate King

There's more, this is from my head. I'll add later. Plus all the games that were released in 2012 in japan (vita lacks this a lot, as there aren't many to be localized. For example, the two probably biggest holiday games for Vita in japan won't come west (AKB and Fate/Stay). Then, 3DS also have Nintendo first party, which is always useful. And shovelwares, which are bad for metacritic purposes, but also are good for the system.

Psp has some really good games that never got localized. Its a shame. Sales should be better because I just see it as like nintendo consoles where third parties come up with rubbish to cop out.

One more thing to complete my year = senran kagura localization =D

I see, i was being general with the (3rd part exclusives are dead) and not thinking Vita vs 3DS only.

Well since western devs don't care about handhelds & Vita is struggling in japan (the 1 important HH market) while 3DS is

having a party, I don't think will see alot of third party exclusives vita games compared to the 3DS until Sony do something

drastic like  a price cut and announce something big (If Sony can afford to).

Sony said there are a lot of unannounced titles for vita so this is not true

I'm sure that the 3DS has a new Mario game, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Metroid, and third-party games unannounced. But the thread is not about it, it is about concrete games.

We need moar Zelda, now!

We need moar Unchartedzz!

We need less DLCs.

Congratulations.  You know how to list games for the 3DS that don't have release dates.

I'm sure everyone is aware that there are a lot of times that games in development but aren't ever announced until final production.

Ys 4 Celceta Sea of Trees is exclusive to the Vita, This hasn't been officiially announced, but I'm sure we're going to get this one.

Question is always "when" they will be announced, because every system has unannounced games.

Yeah, because listing games when they're nothing more than announcements and developer support is any different.

I think its too early to really focus on the announcements of 2013 games. Looking at announcements alone, the first half of the year will probably be weak. However, based on announcements alone, it doesn't suggest that 3rd party exclusives won't release in the holiday of next year. Games releasing in the second half of next year usually aren't announced this early; it's still October. I don't think any consoles yet have games announced for the second half of the next year.

Still though, I think most people expected a huge lack of 3rd party exclusives. With the console selling so poorly, Sony's probably going to have release almost all of the system's exclusives. Perhaps if/when 3rd party exclusives and/or the system increases in sales, then it'll get more 3rd parry exclusives. Until then, there'll just be Sony-published exclusives and Multiplats. To be honeset, Vita owners are really probably more worried about getting games in general next year, regardless of if they are exclusives.
