do you like Wii? do you like Peas? do you like cheese? well now there is new squeezey cheesey peas Wii U edition.... the commercial guys voice was just horrific it literally sounds like he is trying to sell me jewelry at half 2 in the morning from JVC. (sorry if my fast show reference was too out of date :D )

But...you can watch T.V while you play on your BRAND NEW console....

Not right now. In a few minutes I will be. I thought it showed good uses of the controller, explained the features of the controler well too. What else do you want from it?

It's a good thing my mind was already made up to buy a Wii U, cause if it wasn't, that commercial would have done nothing to make me want to buy one. Come on Nintendo, you can do much better than that. I don't see how any of the games shown would incite casuals or non-gamers to want to buy the console.

With all that said, however, I do think the console kind of sells itself by having a touch screen, in a world where everything new has a touch screen.

So for the next commercial I say (1) show the name (2) show the controller (3) show lots of fun casual games being played by happy people (4) show the name again, price and the release date - job done.

What was obnoxious about it? It established that its a new console then established the benefits it provides.
