The trashy (lol get it? It's like a pun or something, the highest form of comedy) screenshot threads and that Steam sale do pretty well lol. Probably better than anything I have done recently, and CGI is getting into PC games now...
My thing is half hearted hype threads these days, I would put more work into them but I am lazy and have too many games to play.

How about you just critique people on whether or not they are a true Civ lover. Of course most Civ lovers probably already own the game but there are some probably that do not. I know the Civfanatics Civ3 forums was full of people that didn't like 4 and they probably don't like 5. I still prefer Civ 3 over 4,5, and Revolution. They need to work on the damn A.I. for a change. The computer is freaking stupid and predictable most of the times. Sure they surprise you but that is rarely.
