New Dashboard, Xbox Music, Windows 8, Smartglass and Surface tablets... Microsoft certainly packed this month full.

I just checked and its not up in UK yet. Should hopefully be there in the morning. I hope VGC coders get this site fully HTML 5. Its pretty poor using Ipad or Nexus 7 at the moment. Also on Windows 8 Rt preview buil I have.

Cmon VC get with it. Its one of the few sites that's still sluggish out there.

I'm glad is there and looking forward to being able to use smartglass as a controller, but it really makes me thankful for thinks like Adblock and Flashblock plus. Or even just hitting escape to turn off those awful animations.

Got to say I really apprecate Firefox on my PC.

It is nice to be able to listen to a Major Nelson podcast actually on my Xbox 360.

So far so good but I will say that navigating the browser with the controller is a little clunky.

Damndest thing. I've been playing my 360 daily and I just got the update a few minutes ago. What the hell was that all about? I started to make a thread but I figuered somebody else had to know!

Anyway, the thing is a bit more streamlined and it's fast as lightning. I have a USB Keyboard but I think I'm going to go ahead and get the messaging system because the browser is pretty powerful. Runs everything in almost PC quality. Haven't tried it with porn, though.

Everything just seems to work so fluidly, now. I'll give it a shot with my Kinect tomorrow or something.

Yeah, 2 of my 3 boxes had the update last week. The one I play exclusively just got it last night. Thing is I couldn't download the update because it said I had a network problem. After wasting too much time messing with my flashed router and checking wires and shit, I figured I'd just download the update to a usb flash drive with my pc and do the update that way. It worked perfectly and then my so called network problem was gone.

I remember I had a problem with this same Xbox a couple of updates ago and it took forever to actually get the update to work. I think I even made a thread about it and someone had suggested doing the update this way (with a thumb drive). It's an old fat btw. Just a little heads up in case others have issues.

It looks nicer, I much prefer the lighter background and I feel the advertisements are slightly more relevant to me.

Finally got the update myself this morning, seems to work a-okay.
